What's on in October around Pemberton & Nannup

October is one of the most spectacular months to visit the Southern Forests. Spring is in full bloom, the forests are alive with colour, wildflowers are abundant, and the warmer weather makes it the perfect time to explore everything the region has to offer. 

Blooming Wild Festival. October falls within the Southern Forests & Valleys' popular Blooming Wild Festival season, celebrating the region's extraordinary wildflowers and natural beauty.  

Rainbow Rides 4–8 October 2026.  Southern Forests & Valleys. A series of fully supported gravel cycling rides leading into the World Championships, with rides passing through Pemberton, Nannup, Manjimup, Bridgetown and surrounding areas.  

UCI Gravel World Championships. 10–11 October 2026 – Nannup. The world's premier gravel cycling event is coming to Nannup, bringing elite cyclists, spectators and international media from around the globe. Nannup will be at the centre of the action, making this one of the largest sporting events ever hosted in the region. 

Southern Forests Trout Festival. 11 October 2026 – Pemberton. A family-friendly community event celebrating fishing, the outdoors and the region's waterways. Great for families visiting during the school holidays
