STARGAZING

Where the forest meets the stars

There's something truly magical about the night sky at Stargazers Forest Hideaway.

Once the sun sets behind the towering karri trees and the forest falls silent, the stars take centre stage. Nestled between Pemberton and Nannup, our secluded location offers dark rural skies with very little light pollution, making it one of the best places in Western Australia's Southern Forests to experience the beauty of the night sky.

On clear nights, you can enjoy the Milky Way stretching across the sky, Bright constellations and planets, The Southern Cross in stunning clarity and meteor showers and the occasonal shooting star.
Relax on your private deck, beside your campfire, or outside your cottage or glamping suite and simply look up.

Best Time for Stargazing
While the stars shine all year round, the best viewing conditions are: Autumn & Winter, longer nights and crisp, clear skies.  New Moon - darker skies and maximum visibility.  After rain - when the air is fresh and exceptionally clear.
